The connection head allows to insulate and protect internal electrical connections (terminal block or temperature transmitters) from process conditions (water, chemicals, weather, steam, etc.).  

The wide choice of materials and the different diameters of the external sheath make the thermocouple with case suitable for different uses in general and industrial applications, easily interfaced with your process by means of pipe fittings (see accessories for temperature probes).
