Atex thermocouple for high temperature working cycles in industrial processes with explosion risks

ATEX thermocouples ASTC-G-Ex series allow the measurement of high temperatures up to 1800 °C in gas and powder in potentially explosive atmospheres, with basic Ex d protection and possibility of integrating intrinsic safety features, for the circuit part, through the use of an ATEX Ex ia transmitter.

Unlike the ATEX thermocouples ASTC-H-EX series, they allow a higher temperature measurement thanks to the use of a ceramic sheath.

Stainless steel fittings of fixed type welded on the sheath or sliding type on the sheath (compression type) for process interface.

The ATEX Thermometer Assembly will comply with the essential health and safety requirements set out in Annex II of the 2014/34/EU (ATEX) Directive, which has been subject to a conformity assessment procedure through the EU Type Examination Certificate XEF 18 ATEX 0015 X, for categories 1/2GD and 2GD.
