RTD sensor for Pipes

Adjustable clamp-on temperature probe for contact measurements on pipes or cylindrical bodies

Clamp-on resistance thermometers allow external measurement on pipes or cylindrical bodies without having to perforate the pipe, starting from diameters of 8 mm.

They can be built with the measuring sheath perpendicular or longitudinal to the clamp so that it can be used according to the needs that the process requires.

The different combinations of materials available allow temperature measurements up to 600 °C

ASPT-S model

Nominal resistances: 100 Ohm @ 0 °C, 1000 Ohm @ 0 °C, (others available on request)

Tolerance class according to EN60751 or DIN

Measurement range from –200 °C to + 600 °C

Number of wires per element 2, 3 or 4

Single or double element

Simple insulation execution

Sheath diameters depending on clamp or ring size

Sheath in SS 304 / 316

Tip in SS 304 / 316 with adjustable clamp for contact measurements on pipes or cylindrical bodies

Types of junctions:
- Aluminum connection head. Ceramic terminal block or temperature transmitter with 4..20 mA analog output (HART protocol on request)
- Extension cable in different sizes and insulation (PVC, Teflon, Silicone Rubber, Fiberglass TTS) DIN bar temperature transmitter available on request
